Alternative Cosmology Group Newsletter - May 2007

After last month’s bumper crop, we only have four papers this month. However the first one is extremely important. It is a trenchant mythological analysis of the “consensus cosmology” and its lack of observational support.

LambdaCDM cosmology: how much suppression of credible evidence, and does the model really lead its competitors, using all evidence?
Authors: Richard Lieu
http://arxiv.org/abs/0705.2462

The second paper is another way of looking at the anisotropies in the WMAP data, showing that, once again, the data do not support the Gaussian isotropic predictions of the inflationary cosmology.

Alignment and signed-intensity anomalies in WMAP data
Authors: P. Vielva, Y. Wiaux, E. Martinez-Gonzalez, P. Vandergheynst

The last two papers attempt to eliminate dark matter and energy in an expanding-universe model based on a new theory of space.

Dynamical 3-Space: Alternative Explanation of the `Dark Matter Ring'
Authors: Reginald T Cahill (Flinders University)

Dynamical 3-Space: Supernova and the Hubble Expansion - Older Universe and End of Dark Energy
Authors: Reginald T Cahill (Flinders University)
